A: Hi Dana, thanks for the question! Our Essential Female formula is safe to use long term and is not known to have side effects. However, not every herb is right for everybody all the time and individuals’ may respond differently. It is considered wise to take intermittent breaks from all herbs and herbal protocol so that your body is better able to respond to the benefits. For our herbal supplements, we suggest taking weekends off from supplementation, or advise taking at least one full week off per month.
