Honey Ginger Throat Tea: Sip & Soothe

Honey Ginger Throat Tea: Sip & Soothe

We’ve arrived at that captivating bridge between seasons, at once bountiful and wistful. Summer’s bold rays begin to soften, making way for crisper mornings and cerulean blue skies that slip sooner into soft golden evenings. As much as we may have delighted in the bold sunshine, we can’t help but welcome the cooling temperatures or even just the promise of them. Alongside relief from the heat, however, comes an uptick in some irritants, such as ragweed, sage, and tumbleweed reaching peak pollination in September. Luckily, alleviating symptoms is as simple as pouring a deeply steeped, delicious cup of our ORGANIC INDIA Throat Care tea.

Even if you’re immune to allergies, seasonal shifts and plain old busyness can take a toll, often manifesting in the throat. Whether you’re suffering from a little scratchiness or pronounced soreness, you can’t really go wrong with the time-honored support of warm tea and honey. Or, you can level up the remedy just right with this flavorful, nurturing tonic.

Behind the Throat Blend

Our ORGANIC INDIA Throat Care Tea harmoniously melds three layers of comfort: cooling, coating, and warming. Included in the unique, delicious blend are some of nature’s most potent throat soothers: piquant ginger, delivers soothing warmth; cooling peppermint eases the sharp edge; sweet licorice, used prominently in Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine, lends coating properties; floral chamomile ushers in calm; warm cinnamon comforts; and citrusy lemongrass delivers a bright, zingy lift. Other star ingredients include spearmint, black pepper, clove, and fennel seed. The sweetly herbaceous results are as delightfully flavorful as they are relaxing and palliative.

We love our ORGANIC INDIA Throat Care Tea pure and simple on its own. Some days call for a little extra, though. Bring out the fullness of the flavors even more with fresh lemon and ginger slices, topped with a mint sprig or two. Even the aesthetic alone enhances the lift, like a tea-rific glow-up as a harbinger of relief. If you want to go a level sweeter, a teaspoon of Manuka honey contains high levels of methylglyoxal (MGO), a notable antibacterial compound that can help target throat pathogens as it deepens sweetness. For a vegan alternative, a spoonful of agave can also help coat and soothe as it sweetens.

Crafted with Certified Organic herbs and spices handpicked from small scale, organic farms, each sip is clean, natural, and exceptional. From the purity of the soil to the unbleached, manila hemp paper tea bags, this is quality you can trust. No matter how you choose to enjoy this simple Throat Care tonic, let it be a gift of gentleness and care.
